So yes.... its true. I am a procrastinator.... I thought I had more time... But its all good. Dasha and I decided to colab on a skateboard for the skateboard art show coming up next week. The crazy part is we have to turn this in tomorrow and we just started today. Anyway,..its probably gonna be a late night so i decided to take pics after i got my part done and handed it to Dasha.... Biggs tag team action bitches! So.... if you want to see it finished then you will need to go to the art show. Its June 19th 7pm-10pm at Henri & Odette. 124 S. I decided to start doing sketches of the day posts. I probably wont get to it everyday but ill try to scan in sketches from my sketchbook every once in a while. So one day you should see this as a painting. or maybe not... so heres the first one! i got a new sketchbook just so i could start this on the right foot. I got a moleskin! and i love it....if you dont know what one is just go to barnes and nobles and pick one up. They have the bigger sizes and the paper is great to sketch on. Anyway... and now what you all have been waiting for...

Art & Ink Festival May 2009

I finally got around to getting the photos off my camera from the art & ink festival at the southpoint. I had a booth for my art and then i got to tattoo in another booth for the shop i work at - Vegas Skin Art. So i got to pimp my shit in 2 different locations at the event! It worked out pretty well. I had my wife, Dasha, sell art at our booth along with some wonderful friends of mine to help her out. My agent was there to help too! Thanks guys! Here are a few pics of the booth and a few of the tattoos i did for people at the convention. I did a few more then whats shown but couldnt get a good pic of it or just forgot to take a damn picture of it! sometimes that happens. Anyway i got a few good shots. It was a good event for me and Im thinking about getting into more tattoo conventions outside of Vegas. Anyway check out the pics and enjoy. :)

Underwater Ally album cover 2.0

Heres the next installment of the Underwater Ally piece im doing. Just taking it a step further and contrasting everything out. Making things POP! so far im diggin it.... im pretty obsessed with this image at the moment. I will be adding more detail and weird shit. Not to sure when i will be done but its getting close. :) hope you enjoy.

New tattoo madness

So I started this bad ass sleeve on my friend Luke (WhatfOUR). All biomech style. The whole arm will be like this. Pretty crazy design... A whole lot of shading that will be in progress for the next month or 2. Check out what i did today. I drew on his arm with sharpies and then went at it. All from the head. This is probably my favorite tattoo ive ever done next to the portrait of Dali. I wish my arm was this cool. Click pics to enlarge.... enjoy

new art

I was bored today so i finished my sugar skull piece with watercolor and a touch of digital work for the print. I didnt have any tattoos to do today....kinda boring and sucky when i have nobody to tattoo so i usually do artwork. Anyway check it out and tell me what you think. Im starting a new series of paintings influenced by tattoo art as you can see. Enjoy...
